These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of this website and any purchases made from Trinket Claws, operated through Shopify.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this site, you confirm that:

  • You are at least the age of majority in your country or have permission from a parent/guardian.
  • You will not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
  • You will not violate any laws in your jurisdiction when using our website.

Trinket Claws reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

2. Product & Descriptions

All press-on nails are:

  • Handmade and made-to-order unless stated otherwise
  • Subject to slight variations in design, colour, and finish

I aim to display product images as accurately as possible, but I cannot guarantee exact colour accuracy due to screen differences.

3. Orders (Shopify Checkout)

  • All orders are placed through Shopify’s secure checkout system.
  • Once an order is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation.
  • I reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at my discretion (including suspected fraud or pricing errors).
  • Once production has begun, changes or cancellations will not be possible.

4. Custom Orders & Sizing

  • Custom sets are made according to the information you provide at checkout.
  • You are responsible for ensuring correct nail sizes and design details.
  • Trinket Claws is not liable for incorrect sizing submitted by the customer.
  • As sizing kits and guides are provided, they must be used correctly to ensure best fit.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may change at any time without notice.
  • Payment is required in full (unless stated otherwise) at checkout via Shopify-supported payment gateways (e.g., Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna if enabled).

6. Processing & Shipping

  • Processing times are displayed on each product page and begin after payment is confirmed.
  • Shipping times are estimates only and may vary depending on location and courier delays.
  • I am not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or external factors.

Once your order is marked as shipped, responsibility transferred to the courier.

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the handmade and custom nature of my products:

  • Custom and made-to-order items are non-refundable and non-returnable unless faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
  • You must contact me within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos if there is an issue.
  • Approved refunds or replacements are issued at my discretion after review.

I do not accept returns for:

  • Incorrect sizing provided by the customer
  • Change of mind after production has started
  • Used or worn items

8. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact me within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the issue

I will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

9. Hygiene & Safety

  • All press-on nails are final sale once used or worn.
  • Adhesive and nail products should be used as directed.
  • Trinket Claws is not responsible for allergic reactions or misuse of products.
  • A patch test is recommended for sensitive skin.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including product designs, photos, branding, and logos, belongs to Trinket Claws.

You may not copy, reproduce, or resell my designs or content without written permission.

11. Third-Party Service (Shopify)

My store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell my products.

Your data may be processed through Shopify’s systems and payment providers to complete transactions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trinket Claws is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of our website or products.

All products are used at the customer’s own risk.

13. Changes to Terms

Trinket Claws reserves the right to update or change these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
